Understanding Skin Brightness & Glow
"Glow" isn't just a marketing term - it reflects the condition of the skin's surface. Skin looks luminous when its surface is smooth, well-hydrated and even in tone. When the complexion looks uneven, dead cells accumulate, or oxidative stress dulls the surface, skin can lose its natural radiance.
True radiance is about supporting the look of an even, healthy-looking complexion: a more even-looking tone, strong antioxidant defence, a fresh-looking surface and good hydration.

What Causes Dull, Uneven Skin?
Uneven-Looking Tone
UV exposure, hormonal changes and everyday stress can leave the complexion looking uneven, with the appearance of dark spots and patchiness that becomes more noticeable with age.
Oxidative Stress
Free radicals from UV, pollution and blue light stress the skin and dull its surface. As the skin's antioxidant reserves (especially glutathione) decline with age, this dullness builds up faster.
Slow Cell Turnover
Dead surface cells sit on the skin longer as turnover slows from around 28 days (age 20) to 40-60 days (age 50+). This creates a dull, uneven-looking appearance.
Everyday Stress on the Skin
Marks left after blemishes or irritation, plus daily environmental stress, can make the complexion look less even over time.

The Antioxidant Approach to Brightening
Many traditional brightening approaches are harsh and can leave the skin looking irritated. Glutathione takes a gentler, antioxidant-led approach.
As the body's master antioxidant, glutathione helps defend the skin against the oxidative stress that dulls the complexion, supporting a brighter-looking tone over time. Combined with stable vitamin C and supporting peptides, this approach helps brighten the look of the skin while keeping it comfortable and strong.

Glutathione Brightening Serum - Master Antioxidant
How It Works
2% Glutathione (GSSG) is an antioxidant used for brighter-looking skin. Nonapeptide-1, Tetrapeptide-1 and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (stable vitamin C) support the antioxidant and radiance-boosting effect.
Clinical Evidence
In a randomized study, a topical 2% glutathione (GSSG) lotion applied for 10 weeks produced significantly brighter-looking skin than placebo, measured as a lower melanin index; the trial was run by the ingredient's manufacturer (Watanabe 2014).
Best For: Dullness and a lacklustre complexion that wants a brighter look.

Copper Peptide (GHK-Cu) Day Gel-Cream - All-Day Protection
How It Works
A lightweight gel-cream with GHK-Cu, Niacinamide, Panthenol and triple hyaluronic acid. GHK-Cu supports the skin's antioxidant defences, helping protect against the environmental stress that leaves skin looking dull.
Why It Fits
A brighter-looking complexion needs daily protection. Without antioxidant defence, UV and pollution can leave the skin looking uneven again. This gel-cream helps maintain protection throughout the day while keeping skin hydrated and glowing.
Best For: Daily antioxidant protection, hydration, maintaining a brighter-looking complexion.

The Multi-Pathway Brightening System
Most brightening products target only one thing. Our approach combines three:
1. Brighter-Looking Tone - Glutathione, Nonapeptide-1 and Tetrapeptide-1 are chosen for a brighter-looking complexion.
2. Antioxidant Defence - Glutathione works alongside vitamins C and E as an antioxidant, while GHK-Cu supports the look of healthy skin. Together they help neutralise the free radicals that dull the complexion.
3. Hydration & Glow - A triple hyaluronic acid complex plumps the look of the skin surface, improving light reflection for immediate luminosity.
This combination supports both the causes of dullness (oxidative stress) and its appearance (uneven tone, dehydration) at the same time.
Your Routine: Daily Brightening & Glow
Use twice daily for best results. Visible improvement typically begins within 2-4 weeks.

1. Cleanse
Gentle, pH-balanced cleanser. Pat skin dry.

2. Glutathione Serum
3-4 drops to full face. Focus on dark spots and uneven areas.

3. Day Gel-Cream
Seal in with Copper Peptide Day Gel-Cream for all-day hydration.

4. SPF (Essential!)
SPF 30+ every morning without exception. UV can cause uneven-looking tone.
Common Questions About Skin Brightening
In its 10-week clinical trial, twice-daily use was well tolerated: all 30 women completed the study and no reactions were attributed to glutathione. Use beyond 10 weeks has not been studied. If it is new to you, patch-test first.
Glutathione is used for a brighter-looking complexion. Its controlled trial measured overall skin pigment, not dark spots or evenness, so we do not claim that it fades them. Consistent use plus strict SPF protection gives the best results.
The key trial of topical glutathione ran 10 weeks: the pigment reading was lower from week 1, and 1 in 4 women could see a slight change by week 4. Give it the full 10 weeks, twice a day, and keep it up, because reviews describe the brightening as temporary.
Its clinical trial studied 30 women with medium skin tones (types III and IV), all of whom completed 10 weeks of twice-daily use with no reactions attributed to glutathione. Lighter and darker skin tones have not been studied, and a 2025 review calls the safety data across topical trials limited. As with any new product, patch-test first.
UV exposure is the main cause of uneven-looking tone and dark spots. SPF 30+ is non-negotiable when using brightening products - it's not optional, it's essential.
