The Science of Peptides
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as chemical messengers in your skin. They work with your skin's natural processes to support a firmer, smoother and more radiant-looking complexion. Our serums use clinically studied peptides at effective, transparently published concentrations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our peptide skincare.

What are peptides and why are they important for skincare?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids - the building blocks of proteins like collagen and elastin. As we age, our skin produces less collagen, leading to wrinkles and loss of firmness. Peptide serums work with your skin's natural processes to support a firmer, smoother and more elastic-looking complexion.
What makes Skingenetix different from other peptide brands?
Transparency. We publish the exact concentration of every key active on each product page, choose our ingredients from peer-reviewed research, and formulate to EU cosmetic standards - so you can see exactly what you're using and compare it to the science.
Which serum should I start with?
It depends on your primary concern: choose the Copper Peptide GHK-Cu serum for overall firmness and a renewed look, the Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 serum for the look of expression lines and wrinkles, or the Matrixyl 3000 serum for firmer, smoother-looking skin and deep hydration. All three can be used together as part of a complete routine.
Do your products contain fragrance?
We add no synthetic fragrance (parfum). Some formulas contain functional botanical extracts (such as Pelargonium graveolens) that can carry a light natural scent. If you are sensitive to fragrance allergens, please check the full ingredient list on each product page.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship across Europe and worldwide. Shipping is free within Europe, with a small fee for the rest of the world (shown at checkout). See our Shipping & Returns page for delivery times per country.
How long until I see results?
Hydration and a smoother texture are often visible within days. Improvements in the look of fine lines, tone and firmness typically build over 2–4 weeks, with best results after 8–12 weeks of consistent daily use.
Can I use several Skingenetix products together?
Yes. Our serums and creams are designed to layer - apply the lightest, most watery serum first, then richer textures, and finish with moisturiser (and SPF in the morning). If you also use strong acids, pure vitamin C or high-strength retinol, apply those at a different time of day, especially alongside the copper peptide serum.
Are Skingenetix products suitable for sensitive skin?
Our formulas are made without parabens, mineral oil or added synthetic fragrance, and are generally well tolerated. As with any new skincare, we recommend a patch test first, and checking the full ingredient list on each product page if you have known sensitivities.
How do I use the serums and creams?
After cleansing, press 2–3 drops of serum onto slightly damp skin, let it absorb, then apply your moisturiser - and SPF in the morning. Each product page has a detailed 'How to use' with the exact routine and product pairings.
